The Story of Wladyslaw
This publication was one of my final major degree projects. A personal project, it focuses on the story of my grandfather, Wladyslaw, focusing on his time fighting for freedom in Poland during the second world war. The book then goes on to examine how heritage becomes diluted as Wladyslaw immigrated to the UK. The topics explored include liberty, diaspora and reconnection. The minimalist style was chosen to reflect not only on his personality, but also to reflect on the recent history of Poland. See here for process document.
